Semarang, April 23 2024 – Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, Dr. Tri Laksmi Indreswari, S.H., M.H., led the material session in a workshop organized by the Master of Notary Study Program, Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. This activity took place on Monday, April 22 2024, at the Ballroom of the Wimarion Hotel Semarang.

In the workshop with the theme “Adjusting the Curriculum for the Master of Notary Study Program Based on Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 53 of 2023 concerning Quality Assurance in Higher Education”, Dr. Tri Laksmi Indreswari, S.H., M.H. presents information regarding curriculum changes required following new regulations issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).

In his presentation, Dr. Tri Laksmi Indreswari S.H., M.H. highlighting the importance of curriculum adjustments as an effort to maintain the quality of higher education, especially in the notarial field. “Changes in higher education regulations require us to continue adapting the curriculum so that it is relevant and responsive to current developments and the needs of the job market,” he said.

This workshop was attended by lecturers and administrative staff of the Master of Notary Study Program, as well as several related stakeholders, such as legal practitioners and representatives of notarial institutions. They are actively involved in discussions and share thoughts about implementation strategies for the curriculum changes they are facing.

Dr. Ana Silviana, S.H., M.Hum., Chair of the Master of Notary Study Program, Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University, welcomed this activity and expressed her hope that through this curriculum adjustment, graduates of the study program would be better prepared to face challenges in the ever-growing world of work.

It is hoped that this workshop can be an effective first step in the process of further adjusting the curriculum, as well as being a forum for good collaboration between academics and practitioners in improving the quality of notary education in Indonesia.
