Diponegoro University continues to see the development of the new variant of the Omicron COVID-19 case, especially in the Semarang area. Undip will continue to prioritize conditional and gradual principles which means referring to the Joint Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture, Minister of Religion, Minister of Health, and Minister of Home Affairs regarding Guidelines for Implementation of Learning in the 2019 Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) Pandemic, obtaining permission from the local government / Covid-19 Task Force, students get permission from their parents, and have been declared negative for Covid-19 or have been vaccinated against Covid-19. Meanwhile, the Guidelines for the Implementation of Learning in the Even Semester of the Academic Year 2021/2022 are in accordance with Circular Letter Number 4 of 2022.

Undip provides the principles of learning policies in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year which are carried out, first with online lectures. Lectures are held online, all lecture participants take them online.

Second, Hybrid (H)-Hybrid Offline (HL) lectures are carried out with the provisions, among others, to apply health protocols for those present in class by measuring body temperature, washing hands with water and soap or hand sanitizer, wearing masks and maintaining a minimum distance of 1 ,6 meters. Lecturers are required to be present in class and students can take offline or online courses, the number of courses for each study program carried out in a hybrid is a maximum of 5 courses with parallel classes a maximum of 2 classes for the same course, students taking hybrid courses offline are required specifically registering for offline lectures, while online hybrid lectures do not need to register for offline lectures. And the number of offline participants in the offline hybrid class is a maximum of 30% of the normal class capacity.

Third, offline lectures (L) are carried out with the provisions of courses and activities that can be carried out including practicum and practicum courses contained in the courses, per session a maximum of 50% of the number of participants or according to conditions; final project consultation; job training; final project exams and library services as well as student service administration; courses are conducted offline, students and lecturers are present in class; implement health protocols and requirements for students who carry out activities on campus, namely in good health and include evidence of having carried out an antigen test at the time of registration for study and obtaining parental permission for students under 21 years of age; have received 2-stage vaccination (for double-dose vaccination), or 1-stage (for single-dose vaccination); KTP domicile in the agglomeration area; students from outside the agglomeration area are required to have resided in Semarang/agglomeration area for at least 1 month by showing a certificate from the local official (RT/RW); willing to undergo randomized testing by antigen test or PCR; and has been registered with the PeduliLindung application.

Fourth, foreign student lectures provided that all lectures are conducted online; for foreign students who have been in Indonesia for at least 3 months can follow the practicum and final project offline; specifically for Developing Country Partnership (KNB) students or other programs sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek) and partner funding sources, can attend Undip by following the provisions of the Ministry of Education and Culture; and all costs incurred as a result of lectures are the responsibility of each student.

Other provisions include registration for limited face-to-face lectures carried out through student SSO, the implementation of limited face-to-face learning must prioritize the health and safety of campus residents (students, lecturers, staff) and the surrounding community. (Lin-Humas)
